Shifting the Heart and Mind
The world may seem like it is getting a little crazier every day, but find comfort in knowing that we are going through an awakening. The world is unfolding as it is meant to.
As the mind and heart shift, so too must the body. Let us ensure that our body (and mind) is in optimum health to allow the shifts to occur naturally. This issue and this website are packed full of credible advice you can trust to guide you to a healthier way of living. Your body knows what to do, as long as you give it what it needs and nothing more. Don’t beat yourself up if you slip back. Nobody’s perfect, right? Well… no, I think everyone is perfect.
The prayer opening the Isha Upanishad is known as The Perfect Prayer:
‘That is perfect, this is perfect, perfect comes from perfect.
Take perfect from perfect, the remainder is perfect.
May peace and peace and peace be everywhere.’
To find peace, we need to connect more to the planet. Our human biofield needs the peace that nature provides. To keep the peace, we need to balance our emotions through meditation and prayer, and we need to practice forgiveness.
Forgiveness does not mean condoning what has happened to us. All we need to do is be willing to forgive. A Course in Miracles is the best book on this topic I have come across. And it did not happen to you but for and through you. We have chosen everything that we experience before we came into our bodies. Coming to an acceptance of this will make suffering less.
Withdrawing from society and disconnecting is not the answer. The lack of connection is the root cause of all mental illness. Relationships are key to our survival.
Own what is unwanted because it can't un-exist. Understand it by bringing it closer and change your relationship to it. Compassion breeds awareness and awakening. With much love.
