    Editor's Letter

Health is more about the outside …

Thank you for all your letters! Keep it coming as you inspire content! Here is another issue packed with good health.

Dealing with the ups and downs of life is always a combination of looking after both what is inside and outside one’s self. We all know that health is not about the inside only… in fact, it is much more about the outside. What we eat, drink, think and feel affects our health. Who we surround ourselves with is critical to our health and wellbeing. Can you afford not to say goodbye to those who have the potential to make you sick?

With every goodbye, there is something to learn. I want to share this excerpt from Comes the Dawn by Veronica Shoffstal: ‘After a while, you learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much, so you plant your garden and decorate your own soul instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers. And you learn that you really can endure, and really are strong, and you really do have worth. And you learn; with every goodbye, you learn.’

    THANK YOU TO OUR EXPERTS

Our authors receive no payment or any other form of remuneration from us or from the industry. They take time out from their busy schedules to write articles – and then we insist that they meet our deadlines, submit extra references, answer endless queries from reviewers and copy editors, and respond to the letters we receive from you, our readers. Here’s to all of them! May their tireless and tremendous efforts bring them well-deserved rewards.

    Yours in Healthy Living
