Spring – a time to detox and avoid allergies
I have just returned from a short holiday in Italy with my daughter, Jesse, who now lives permanently in a small town near Venice. I took the picture of her you see on the cover. She will be turning 30 this spring. Isn’t she beautiful, natural, and lovely? This is her fourth cover. Below, you will see her previous cover pictures, the first of which I took when she was seven years old. Happy 30th birthday, Jesse!
This issue was such a pleasure to put together. As a Virgo, I love organising my life, which includes a spring clean detox in September. Be sure to read Dr Kevin Lentin’s comprehensive article, Body Spring Clean: The Detox Guide. Speaking of spring, we hope you get to enjoy many beautiful flowers, but if they make you sneeze, read Dr Connie Meyer’s article, Avoid Those Bloomin’ Allergies This Spring. Herbs can also boast the most beautiful flowers! Connie has written another article on how to make herbs part of your life in Phototherapy for Children. And don’t miss the feature on wheatgrass by the late Margaret Roberts.
Is eczema linked to allergies? It could be. Find out more by reading Sally-Ann Creed’s article, Natural Management of Eczema. Some people may also be sensitive to the chemical sprays used on our food. Discover the Ten Healing Foods to Buy Organic. We also explore Teenage Stress in Today's World, Oxygen and Alzheimer’s Disease, and Natural Pain Relief in Labour.
Enjoy the read, and please feel free to share the articles.
